SureSmile Aligners

SureSmile Orthodontics is a nearly invisible alternative to metal braces (similar to Invisalign) for kids, teens, and adults. We custom make plastic trays at Big Sky Dental Clinic to straighten your teeth gradually and comfortably. First, Dr. Clave will take an impression of your teeth to create a series of molds that you will wear for two weeks. Then, over a period of 9-18 months, your teeth will be transformed into the smile that you’ve desired.

Oral Hygiene

A dental cleaning is a professional cleaning you receive from Dr. Chris Clave or his hygienist and takes between 25 and 30 minutes. Cleanings are recommended every six months to prevent excessive plaque buildup. Plaque left untreated can lead to unhealthy gums and tooth decay. Routine dental cleaning should include scaling, root planing, and polishing.

Smile Whitening

Tooth reshaping and contouring will help correct chipped, solution for people who want to improve the color of their teeth with minimal procedures. Remove stains from coffee, smoking, or other common causes with a painless tooth whitening from Dr. Clave. We offer several tooth whitening options, all of which will be more effective than any over-the-counter solution.

Mercury-Free Fillings

The common silver filling contains mercury. Our practice uses the highest-quality biocompatible, tooth-colored restorations to create healthy, beautiful smiles. Since the composite material adheres directly to the tooth enamel, less preparation of the tooth is required before using it. This means it is more durable and provides a more natural-looking result.

Crowns & Bridges

Protect and keep badly decayed or fractured teeth while maintaining a beautiful smile. Made to perfectly match the shape and shade of your other teeth, they’re durable, strong, and undetectable.

Crowns should be placed before the tooth is so decayed that it may fracture. This can often help prevent the expense of root canal therapy in the future. If a tooth is too damaged to have a crown applied, a porcelain bridge may be a good alternative.
